How long should jobs remain in the feed?
Jobs should stay in your feed for as long as they're active and accepting applications. Once a job is removed from your feed, it's also removed from the job boards it was published to.
How long does it take for an approved XML feed to be connected?
Once your feed is approved, full implementation typically takes around 2 weeks or less, this depends on how many other integrations are in our queue at the time of submission.
How long does it take for jobs to be published on job boards after connection?
We process your XML feed every hour and push any changes out to the network. From there, it depends on the board: most free job boards are integrated via XML and pull from our feed every 4 to 24 hours, publication timing after that depends on the individual board.
LinkedIn is the outlier here: we connect to it via a direct API rather than XML. It's quicker than the rest of the network once a job is accepted, but given it's still a high-volume, free service to recruiters, it's not instant and there can be some delays. Allow a few hours before assuming something's wrong.
Since these are free job listings, boards aren't obligated to pick up every ad, and VONQ doesn't guarantee placement on any specific board.
Does the network accept all of a customer's jobs immediately?
Not always. Certain values in your feed may need to be mapped to a job board's taxonomy before a job can go live, this is a normal part of the process, not a fault in your feed. Our team routinely reviews and fixes mapping issues to keep things running smoothly.
The more closely your feed follows our template, the higher your acceptance rate will be from the start.
