Below are the different ways you can receive jobs from VONQ -
1. VONQ Format, Hosted at VONQ (Feed)
- The VONQ Feed option is an easy way to configure a new job board within the VONQ system. Active job postings are made available via the Feed URL the moment they're posted. There is a minimal amount of setup involved on the client side before job postings can be made available in the XML feed.
- Please see the Full Feed Overview and the XML Sample.
- Pros: quickest turnaround
- Cons: field/value mapping is done on the board side, lack of field/value flexibility
2. VONQ File Format, Delivered to Board
- VONQ can send a standard XML output file and can deliver the file one or more times daily via FTP or HTTP POST.
- The XML format is the same as the Feed XML mentioned above.
- Pros: quick turnaround, inexpensive
- Cons: field/value mapping is done on the board side, lack of field/value flexibility, the board hosts endpoint, and there may be a fee associated with this type of setup
3. Board-Defined File Format, Delivered to Board
- VONQ can write the job feed based on the job board specification and can deliver the files via HTTP POST or FTP.
- Pros: already established board file format and delivery mechanism make it easier for some boards to integrate using this option
- Cons: much longer turnaround time than options #1 or #2, there is generally a fee associated with this type of setup
4. Board-Defined File Format, Hosted at VONQ
- VONQ can write the job feed based on the job board feed specification and can host the job files.
- Pros: already established board file format make it easier for some boards to integrate using this option
- Cons: much longer turnaround time than options #1 or #2, there is generally a fee associated with this type of setup
