Connecting your existing job board contracts is fast and easy if you have the right information. The instructions below walk you through connecting a VDAB contract to your MyContracts options.
The MyContracts setup process is similar for most job boards and the required fields will vary depending on the job board you choose to set up. Once you select the desired job board from the drop down, the page will automatically display the relevant instructions and required fields.
Connecting your VDAB contract requires a multi-step process that includes signing an agreement with VDAB.be, submitting test vacancies, and once the testing phase is completed successfully entering the credentials received from VDAB.
- You must have an active contract to advertise jobs on VDAB. Before connecting your contract, email your point of contact at VDAB to sign an agreement.
- Next, VDAB will require you to go through a “testing phase” where you will have to submit test vacancies that will be audited by VDAB.be.
- Once your vacancies have passed the quality check, VDAB will provide you with your credentials: your Supplier ID, “Competenties_username” and “Competenties_password".
- Begin typing in the search field for MyContracts within the ATS platform to find the job board you wish to set up.
- In this case, search for “VDAB” and select it from the drop down.
- Once you select the desired job board, the page will automatically render the instructions and fields that are specific to that job board.
- Enter your respective credentials:
- First, type your Supplier ID associated with your VDAB account in the field “SupplierID”
- Enter your Competenties Username associated with your VDAB account in the field “Competenties Username”
- Enter your Competenties Password in the field “Competenties Password”
- Select your company type from the dropdown in the field “Type Adverteerder” (Agency or Corporate)
- Once you have followed these steps, your integration is activated (assuming the credentials are correct) and you can begin posting jobs to VDAB.
- There are various optional fields that you can now use for managing your contract in MyContracts.
- Contract Alias allows you to give your contract a name.
- Contract Expiry allows you to set the date that your contract will expire.
- Purchase Price allows you to display the cost of the posting. This is informative for users, this does not result in a fee being charged.
- How Many Credits allows you to set the amount of posting inventory you have with a job board. MyContracts will track and display inventory in real time. This is not reconciled with job boards - if you post a job directly to a job board and not through MyContracts, the credit tracker will not track that.
